Masseria Torre Coccaro is the fortified farmhouse polished into a resort: a sixteenth-century watchtower, a beach club, a cooking school, and staff enough to run a small town. It made the masseria famous as a luxury category.

Moroseta keeps the same white stone and olive groves at six-room scale, with one long table instead of three restaurants. And Palazzo Daniele shows what happens when a Puglian family house is emptied rather than filled.

We have not slept at Masseria Torre Coccaro, so it is not in the collection. Nothing joins without a stay we can vouch for, and hotels cannot pay to be listed.
