Hotels like Paradero.

Paradero is Todos Santos's design statement: brutalist concrete in the desert, serious landscape architecture, an adults-only calm.

San Cristóbal is its older, softer neighbor: roadside modern instead of monument, and right on the break. We slept there and kept it.

We have not slept at Paradero, so it is not in the collection. Nothing joins without a stay we can vouch for, and hotels cannot pay to be listed.

Why it made Lento Liz Lambert's desert-surf outpost where Baja dust meets the Pacific — saltillo floors, striped towels, nothing hurried.

Why it made Lento Rooms strung between jungle and sea, run on ritual rather than schedule.
