Le Sirenuse has been Positano's grand hotel since 1951: the red facade above the beach, the Michelin terrace, and the crowds that come with all of it.
Twenty minutes along the coast there is a quieter version of the same drama: a former monastery hung above Conca dei Marini, where the sea is just as close and the town is not.
We have not slept at Le Sirenuse, so it is not in the collection. Nothing joins without a stay we can vouch for, and hotels cannot pay to be listed.
